DATA ARCHIVING

DATA STANDARDS

EHI follows the GSC-developed data reporting standard designed for accurate reporting of contextual information for samples associated with genomic and metagenomic sequencing.

MIGS

Minimum Information about
Genomic Sequences

MIMS

Minimum Information about Metagenomic Sequences

All the EHI data archived in public repositories contains the metadata defined in the MIGS and MIMS standards adapted to hologenomics. This data is compiled from field researchers and laboratory personnel to ensure all generated data are comparable to other studies.

European Nucleotide Archive
ENA

Pre-processed genomic and metagenomic data are archived at the  European Nucleotide Archive
